Poor trip with viator

No Aircondition, the microphone for the driver was poor. No opportunity to hick. False advertisement that we were going to hick for four miles. Driver nice person.

Even with all good intentions things can go wrong in the equipment we provide. Four mile hike is an option on every tour we go to Glacier Point so thousands of our clients have taken advantage of that offer. Not sure what happened on this trip and i will find out about the same. Please call our office and provide us your address and we will send you a Gift Certificate for the trouble you had with our A/C. Also if you come back this way we will give you Buy one Get one Free Tour. Thanks Ramji

Great day, worth the money

Tour started out slow because we had to travel up to the West gate to pick up another couple but once we were in the park it was amazing. Our guide, Daniel, was very informative and attentive and just an interesting guy. Our travel companions were very nice, had all been vaccinated and all still wore masks which made us happy. The deli sandwich lunch, water and snacks was very good. There’s no way to see all the sites in Yosemite in one day but we saw almost all the famous ones, and from multiple view points, top to bottom, which made it all the more cool. All in all, a great day and worth the money.

What a great day!

Our tour guide Daniel is a native from the Yosemite area & was very informative. He picked up& dropped us off at our hotel lobby which was very convenient for us. What’s the hurry happy to see that we were put in a small into the group with just one other couple. Made the experience very personalized. We signed up for the full day tour and got to see all the highlights we were looking forward to seeing. Lunch was picnic style as described and I was thrilled that Daniel stopped to make frequent bathroom stops! We were thrilled with the tour. I know we would not have been able to accomplish on our own all that we did without this tour. Definitely would recommend this tour company.

A stressless way to see Yosemite

Glacier Point is an unforgettable experience. We had great weather and beautiful scenery. However the hiking part should be left out and list it has a separate tour. Of the 11 of us on the tour three went hiking. It was supposed to last for an hour. The remainder were left sitting in a parking lot for close to two hours. That’s not what I was told when I spoke to the tour organizers. The organizer said we would be touring the park while others were hiking.
icon Response from Host , May 2021
The people who go on hike get 4 hours from the time they reach the Glacier Point to meet the Guide back at Yosemite Lodge area. While they are doing a 4 mile hike, the other guests spend an hour at Glacier Point and then drive back an hour to go to the valley, another hour to stop at few points and an hour to take a lunch break and also walk to the lower Yosemite Falls. That is the break down for 4 hours and after others meet up we start heading out from the valley with few more stops. Not sure where the 1 hour came from and I will discuss with the guide about that. Having lived in this area for 27 years I am fully aware of the area and know exactly how everything works. Apologies if we didn't satisfy your expectations. Thank you Ramji

Yosemite with Viator

We enjoyed the tour with our guide Nick. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. He took us to all the beautiful spots and gave us interesting historical information about the valley. We would prefer a later start time than 7 am. We were told it would be 8 am when we signed up. We are not morning people on vacation.

Thank you for kind words. By the time your tour is done most guests understand the reason for going early and beat the traffic.
