Begin your bike tour in central Vancouver, where you meet your guide in the morning. After a quick safety briefing and a bike and helmet fitting, set off on an exciting city ride. Along the way, stop for great photo ops, get insider tips and learn fascinating anecdotes about Vancouver’s colorful history from your savvy guide.

Head to Stanley Park with your small group and wind through the remarkable 1,000-acre (405-hectare) green space, a wonderland of 500,000 cedar, fir, and hemlock trees. Enjoy splendid vistas of the city skyline, the North Shore Mountains and Mount Baker (on a clear day), and marvel at First Nation totem poles in Brockton Point. Learn about the native people that once inhabited the area, pedal into the rain forest and past Beaver Lake, and spot local wildlife like river otters, herons, and bald eagles.

Next, wheel onto the ferry for a quick ride to Granville Island. Here, enjoy free time to stroll explore the Public Market—bursting with colorful produce and artisan goods—and grab lunch (own expense). Then head along False Creek, through Olympic Village to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, dubbed the 'world’s top city garden' by National Geographic.

Your half-day tour concludes with a trip through ambient Gastown, the city’s historic logging outpost turned chic shopping and entertainment district. Coast past fine restaurants and boutiques and on to Coal Harbour to watch seaplanes skirt along the Burrard Inlet waterfront. Arrive back at the bike rental shop in downtown by mid-afternoon.

Fantastic tour

We had an exceptional tour guide, Paulo O’Connor, who gave us a wonderful bike tour. He was very knowledgeable, had interesting facts about the city and it’s history and was truly friendly. The tour went ahead even though we were only 2 people, my wife and I. It’s a great way to learn about the city and some of it’s attractions and neighborhoods.

Overview of Vancouver and exercise at same time!

Fantastic half day trip by bike. Had a great guide Bob who was very informative and guided as along while maintaining safety and not hurrying. Got to see complete over view of Vancouver and getting exercise to boot! Only caveat wish the bikes had some suspension as very jarring especially for a guy not on bike for a while.

Having Paulo guiding us was great. So knowledgeable and fun to ride with. Thank you. As inexperienced bike riders, Paulo was very good at gauging our group dynamic. He also directed us to the best gelato in town.

Stanley Park was my favourite spot, but so was going across to Granville Island and the Aquabus. I loved the False Creek community layout and history as well as the ride along the seawall. I got left behind more than a few times because I couldn’t ride as fast as the others. But I took in the scenery and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We had a great 5 hour tour with Greg. He was informative, funny and always concerned about safety. Bikes worked well. So many bike lanes so if you are worried you are always near trafgic dont be. A few challening short stretches but never any shame in walking them. Thanks Greg!

We enjoyed the tour and the history. Got to see all of the highlights and lots of tips. One thing to consider is if you want less structure and are comfortable on your own you can rent the bikes on your own from the place and they can help you plan your route.
