This activity will end right where it started.
Begin your bike tour in central Vancouver, where you meet your guide in the morning. After a quick safety briefing and a bike and helmet fitting, set off on an exciting city ride. Along the way, stop for great photo ops, get insider tips and learn fascinating anecdotes about Vancouver’s colorful history from your savvy guide.

Head to Stanley Park with your small group and wind through the remarkable 1,000-acre (405-hectare) green space, a wonderland of 500,000 cedar, fir, and hemlock trees. Enjoy splendid vistas of the city skyline, the North Shore Mountains and Mount Baker (on a clear day), and marvel at First Nation totem poles in Brockton Point. Learn about the native people that once inhabited the area, pedal into the rain forest and past Beaver Lake, and spot local wildlife like river otters, herons, and bald eagles.

Next, wheel onto the ferry for a quick ride to Granville Island. Here, enjoy free time to stroll explore the Public Market—bursting with colorful produce and artisan goods—and grab lunch (own expense). Then head along False Creek, through Olympic Village to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, dubbed the 'world’s top city garden' by National Geographic.

Your half-day tour concludes with a trip through ambient Gastown, the city’s historic logging outpost turned chic shopping and entertainment district. Coast past fine restaurants and boutiques and on to Coal Harbour to watch seaplanes skirt along the Burrard Inlet waterfront. Arrive back at the bike rental shop in downtown by mid-afternoon.

We loved this tour. 5+ hours /20 km at a manageable pace. We learned the history of Vancouver. I especially enjoyed the trek through the rain forest in Stanley park. Our leader George was very knowledgeable. He was born and raised in Vancouver and he has lots of pride in his community. I highly recommend this tour.

I'm a solo traveler to Vancouver, and this bike tour was one of the highlights of my trip! The bike shop is centrally and conveniently located and the bike was well-maintained and a joy to ride. My tour consisted of me, eight other tourers, and our most excellent guide, George (if you book a tour, consider asking for one of his). George was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guide both to biking and Vancouver. It's a beautiful ride on bike paths and protected bike lanes, so it's comfortable for all riders. We saw beautiful scenery, learned a lot about Vancouver, and got great local/insider knowledge from George, a lifelong but well-traveled Vancouverite. The tour included a ferry ride (with bikes aboard) to Granville Island, where we had time for lunch. George did a great job fostering camaraderie among the group, which was a mix of couples, solo travelers, and families with older/adult children. He gave us tips for places to visit, eat, and see after the trip, and I ended up spending the rest of the day with another traveler I met on the tour. It was a great way to see the city - highly recommend!

Paolo our guide was amazing. Super knowledgeable and informative. It was the perfect way to spend our first full day in Vancouver getting to know neighborhoods and seeing virtually every part of the city. This experience is good for all levels of bikers, only one real uphill and he encouraged us to walk it. Highly recommend this tour!

An excellent day. We upgraded to ebikes, which we were glad of as its 19 miles (mainly flat), but we’re worried we might not be as fit/youthful as some of the others in the group. It’s an easy ride with plenty of stops

Wonderful way to see the city. Chris did a great job telling us the history of the area. We upgraded to Ebikes and they were super fun. You don’t really need an ebike for this tour but it made it more enjoyable. The best thing we did in Vancouver.

Fabulous tour of Vancouver city on a bike. Our guide Greg was brilliant, so much knowledge of the different areas visited and so funny too. He really made the trip amazing. We covered pretty much the whole city in the 5.5 hours on the bike. Mostly easy riding with just a couple of slightly more challenging uphill sections. Loved this and we had a great time. Would highly recommend.
