Make your own way to the Outback Pioneer Hotel in Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) in time for noon departure. After meeting your guide and group settle into your seats aboard an air-conditioned coach and soak up the scenery as you journey into the UNESCO-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Enjoy the scenery on the way, then jump out to enjoy the first walk of the day, affording spectacular views of Kata-Tjuta (the Olgas) and the Walpa Gorge. Continue to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn more about the local Pitjantjatjara people and the region’s rich Aboriginal heritage.

Next, head to the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock), where you’ll enjoy two walks – the Mala Walk, which follow the north-west side of Uluru and passes some impressive Anangu rock art, and a guided hike to the ancient Mutitjulu Waterhole.

Finally, watch the sunset over the sacred peak of Uluru as you sip a glass of Champagne and feast on a traditional Aussie-style BBQ dinner.

Your tour ends around 7pm, back at the Ayers Rock Resort.

Guide Britt was great!
, Jun 2021
Our whole experience was fantastic! Please pass on our thanks to guide Britt, she was very knowledgeable and was bus driver, guide and chef! Only another 2 people on our tour and we weren't rushed. Would highly recommend!
The most amazing tour we have ever had! Thanks Emu Run/Britney!
, Jun 2021
Britney was a great tour guide/driver/BBQ chef and she made our 7 hours whole day a special one, and we loved it! The spot she set up our sunset dining table was perfect, and she cooked up our steak, sausages and onion in no time! Everything was perfect and we took many excellent photos during our trip, a perfectly run day for us! Will definitely choose “ Emu Run “ tours again in the future. Thanks Britney & Emu Run for such a beautiful and memorable day for us. 100%

Fabulous tour

Fantastic tour, covered everything we wanted to see. Tony was our driver/guide/chef and he was so knowledgeable, easy going and accommodating. We had a fabulous, memorable day.
Good value
, May 2021
Very good value. You get to see both sites and a good BBQ sunset for the price others charge for just the BBQ
Great if you have limited time
, May 2021
Great if you are short of time as you get to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta. However, if you want to spend time at Kata Tjuta this is not the tour for you as you really only spend an hour there and it feels quite rushed. If you book any other tour around Uluru you will ‘double up’ if you book this tour as this tour goes to the same 2 spots as any other tours. The BBQ dinner was well organised and the food was good.
Ancient Uluru
, May 2021
It was very interesting and informative tour about Uluru rock and Indigenous myths. The ancient cave paintings were impressive. It was good to have some information about Indigenous culture.
Taxing.Guides very good. Felt rushed as hadn't checked fuel and had to go back
, May 2021
The guides were great. Viator shocking. I would not book a tour through them again... and we have months to go. Don't ask for dietary requirements if they are not going to be considered
