This is a "Must do" Tamarindo activity

The group of passengers and pura vida vibes made this cruise PERFECT, despite red tide preventing snorkeling and sea snakes(?) cutting in-water activities short. The crew worked as a team and made sure everyone was having a good time. Food (snack pico & chips before swimming as well as chicken beans & rice just before sunset) was delicious and drinks were plentiful and varied. Sunset did not dissappoint and the music had EVRYONE dancing - great mix!

Sunset was amazing food was good especially the banana bread. In the ad it said snacks and beverages but it was a filling meal which I enjoyed. Things I did not like kayak they only had one on a full boat did snorkeling and saw nothing in the water. Water was dirty and not clear the tour guides were friendly and engaging. William was accommodating took pictures for us and he catered to our needs.

Nicole, It sounds like most of this tour was to your liking with the exception of things that are out of our control. We cannot produce fish on demand or control the clarity of the water on any particular day. The availability of the extra toys like kayaks and SUP boards vary as they are always getting broken and there's only so much room on board. They couldn't possibly have one for each person.

Fun but not much snorkeling

We enjoyed the catamaran sailing over the water and the weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the excursion. However, the reef they take you to doesn't have very good snorkeling. Also, they had 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for 30 people - a few people quickly commandeered these and kept them for the entire time the visitors were allowed in the water, even though one of the kayaks was left beached and not used. Although they told us we had an hour to swim/snorkel, they must have started the clock as soon as they said that, because the actual amount of time in the water was more like half an hour. The snack of fresh salsa and chips was nice, and lunch had adequate vegetarian options (white rice, grilled veggies, and fried plantains). Dessert was fresh cut pineapple as we headed back to the beach. Most of the activity is about the cruising, and the crew was nice.

The staff were amazing. Always there to keep a drink in hand! The cruise itself was just the right amount of time. Two major issues though. First, was the fact that the toilet. We were told about this just before boarding. Second, they ran out of food at the end. We were kind of expecting snacks throughout there were chips/salsa and overall plenty of food. I think everyone got a fair amount of food but they did run out after lunch.

Friendliest staff that caters your every need! They were ready to serve drinks the moment we got on the catamaran and made sure you always had one in your hand. Very funny staff that made the trip super enjoyable, took pictures for us and answered many questions we had about animals and scenery we saw. Great for couples and families. Hour ride out to a snorkeling cove watching dolphins on the way out. During snorkeling a staff member would dive down to retrieve starfish, puffer fish, sea cucumbers for you to view up close and even hold! We saw a variety of sea life. An hour or so later is lunch, chicken/fish wraps, delicious dip and chips, fresh fruit and cookies. Afterwards you start trip back while watching the sunset. Great music!

One of the best parts of my solo 30th birthday trip!
The crew is awesome. Friendly, helpful, and kept the drinks coming with whatever we wanted.
Snorkeling was fun! Not a lot of fish but we saw a baby octopus and puffer fish.
The views were amazing. Beautiful out on the water away from everything!
Great people. The boat fits A LOT without feeling crowded and we all had great conversation with new friends.
Highly recommended!

The tour was great but the winds were quite crazy that day. We weren't able to take advantage of any of the water stuff. That was really disappointing. I understand the water were too rough but I was hoping that wouldn't have been the case the day we went.
The crew was really amazing and always there to please. I like that the boat has a small group. We saw a few with triple the amount and they looked miserable and over crowded. Already recommended to a friend who's going in March.
