Departure Time

8:30 AM
Explore a different side of Bali, visiting some of the less-explored cities, scenery, and sights of the island's northern coast during this full-day excursion. You're sure to come away with a newfound appreciation for the unique culture and stunning scenery of this one-of-a-kind island.

Start your trip with pickup from your Bali hotel in the morning (selected hotels). Your tour operator confirms the exact timing when booking. Then head through Bali's Central Mountains towards the island's northern coast, watching as the plant life transitions into lush farm fields of cabbage, potatoes, and maize. Along the way, stop by Candi Kuning, a flower and fruit market, where you can admire the exotic orchids, colorful roses and delicious strawberries for sale by local vendors.

Head next to Bedugul, an mountain resort situated 2,700 feet (850m) above sea level. Check out Lake Beratan, which lies in the crater left behind by the now-extinct Mount Batukaru, and visit the lake's beautiful temple, used by the locals to honor the goddess who supposedly inhabits this body of water.

Afterward, head up to Munduk Village and see the majestic twin lakes. Continue along the coast of Lovina, passing the famous black sand beach and stopping for lunch (own expense). Then explore the old town of Singaraja, Bali's former capital.

Top off the day with a stop at a rainforest, where you walk to Gigit Waterfall. Your tour concludes with a scenic drive back to your hotel.

A good way to see the water temples that feature in all the adverts for Bali and to see the north shore, some waterfalls and some forests. Meal was reasonable and the coach was air conditioned, but Bali does get very hot. A few stop offs at lookouts for photos, but nothing spectacular to see.

Hard to reach Urban Adventure for the trip. No one is answering the number they provided and Viator did not even respond when we contacted them via email.

A very pleasant days drive to he north of Bali. Saw lots of interesting scenery and rural views. There were only three on the tour and the guide stopped wherever we wanted to. The village market was interesting and colourful. the lunch location was idea but we got there late and not a lot of food was left but we didn't go hungry. Having the name Singaraja in the title is misleading as all we did was drive through Singaraja. I would have liked to have stopped in the centre of this city and had a bit of look around but you cant do everything in one day.

The tour guide was informative but the vehicle we were driven in was ready for the wreckers - the seat we were sitting in wasn't even fixed to the floor properly - new vehicle required. Bedugul the temple and the lake were fabulous as was Git Git Waterfall, and the however the rest of this tour was overly long and a bit of a waste of time . Make this a half day tour as far as Git Git, knock off Lovina black sand beach ( don't bother ) the lunch was terrible ( tourist buffet at a hotel ) and the stops to make purchases at the "Silversmiths" and the Civet Coffee places seemed to be profit driven not sightseeing.

Had a gr8 day. Our Guide Anto was lovely and caring and very informative. Our driver was also an excellent driver and felt very reliable. We enjoyed our lunch at Aditya Resort in Lovina on the coast. We were picked up on time and arrived back at our resort on time. Overall a lovely day. Thank you.
