*Complimentary Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, & Flagstaff hotel pickup (Sedona, Village of Oak Creek & Flagstaff pickup within city limits only). Departure/Pick Up time is approximately 6:00-6:30am. Minimum 4 guests required for tour to operate. HOTEL INFORMATION REQUIRED 72 HOURS PRIOR TO TOUR DATE
Start your full-day tour with pickup at your hotel in Sedona. The drive to the Navajo Nation takes you through Oak Creek Canyon via a National Scenic Byway. View ancient volcanoes and the aptly named rock formations of the Painted Desert en route to Antelope Canyon.

On arrival, follow a Navajo guide into the narrow, twisting sandstone cliffs of the 120-foot-deep (27-meter) canyon, where sunlight descends in dramatic shafts. Watch it illuminate the walls of the slot canyon in shifting yellow, orange, and violet hues, and learn to best capture the vivid scene on camera.

Make a stop at the Cameron Trading Post, where Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo artists sell silver jewelry, pottery, and other artisan crafts. Stop at Glen Dam with a majestic view of Lake Powell on one side and a glimpse into the depths of Glen Dam Gorge on the other. Hike up to Horseshoe Bend for dramatic views of the Colorado River from above, then continue on with return transport to your hotel.

Nice your, but know the rules beforehand

The tour was nice, horseshoe bend and antelope canyon are really beautiful. Lake Powell isn’t a stop- you just drive by it so I’m not sure it should be written as an inclusion. The guide at antelope canyon can be hit or miss, unfortunately ours was terrible and we didn’t learn anything except how to take a good photo inside the canyon. You need to wear a mask outdoors at antelope canyon, which should be made more clear prior to booking. Our guide for the whole day was generally nice and very knowledgeable but was extremely off putting about the rules at the canyon. She didn’t need to lecture my husband who questioned the not being able to take off your mask for a photo. She could have said this much was nicer but instead treated him like a child or like he was coming to disrespect the culture and he simply asked a question. We were pretty annoyed at this and it affected how we felt the rest of the day. I get that this is not the tour company’s fault but when paying over $500 for two people to go see a place that is known for taking amazing photos, to not be able to lower your mask for a photograph is absurd.

4 STARS! This tour really does have some beautiful sites. For future travelers let's clarify some errors in your review: We do not commit anywhere that Lake Powell is a stop on this tour. Always good to read the tour description. Mask mandates on the Navaho reservation have been in place for two years as is their sovereign decision. This requirement is clearly posted on the third party website next to our tour. This requirement is clearly posted on our website. This requirement was sent to you via text and in a voicemail 48 hours prior to your tour which you confirmed. Your guide who routinely conducts this tour indicated she was concerned about your potential non-compliance which would have required you be escorted from Antelope Canyon and fined. Her stern approach was to remind you that you had been so advised and needed your cooperation so that you might complete the tour. We find that information and cooperation are key in these unprecedented times.

The canyon was just incredibly beautiful! Our tour guide Jeff was great. Very Knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions we had for him. It was a long drive to and from the canyon, but a great site to see once we got there.

AZ beauty at its best
Analia_G

First rate all around experience from start to finish. The natural beauty of AZ was highlighted at the very start of our van trip with a lovely ride along a scenic byway. Ty, our driver and guide, was very informative and friendly, giving us great info and insights. The van was comfortably spotless and we had 9 occupants. We made plenty of stops along the way for Photos, restrooms, coffee, and extra pick me ups. Lunch was really good too. The highlights of the trip speak for themselves - horseshoe bend and Antelope Canyon were spectacular. I highly recommend this tour and Viator gets a huge thumbs up from us.

Prior to our tour we received a reminder phone call. The caller answered all our questions, and we were able to call for more information. We were picked up promptly at our resort. Our tour guide was friendly. He was very talkative and informative during the 3 hour ride to horseshoe bend and antelope canyon. The tour bus was spacious and comfortable. Lunch was tasty and ample. They were able to accommodate some dietary restrictions. Horseshoe bend and antelope canyon themselves were spectacular. Our Navajo guide at antelope canyon, Mario, was fantastic. He pointed out beautiful elements of the canyon, and helped every one in our group take wonderful photos he played flute for us on the canyon which was a lovely touch. He kept us moving since time in the canyon was limited, but it never felt rushed or uncomfortable.

Photographers, bring a super wide angle or fisheye lens. Lots of fine sand raining down on you. Wear a hat.

This tour (which included stopping at the Cameron trading post, horseshoe bend, glen canyon dam, and the grand finale anetelope canyon) was by far one of our favorite excursions to date! The convenience of being picked up right in front of the inn at which we were staying started it off so nice.... and our guide on the van (Brad!) was the perfect combination of providing a wealth of information along with making it so much fun!! Every stop was spectacular and 100% worthwhile. And Antelope Canyon is beyond words amazing. The Native American guide we had through the canyon was also excellent (along with being an expert at....voluntarily.... taking the most amazing pictures inside the canyon for every member of the group!). We were very happy with our experience and would recommend this adventure to anyone traveling to the area!! Great day!!
