A Lovely Day in Napa and Sonoma
Melissa_D
, Sep 2020
My daughter and I had a lovely day with a helpful and informative guide. Due to COVID and wild fires the tour had to be adapted last minute. The stop in Sausilito first thing in the morning was a bit of a wasted hour but after that things picked up. Our guide arranged for an option of a third wine tasting or a hike. We chose a brief hike. Lunch was lovely and then on to wine tastings. The first place we had hosts that shared a bit about the wines. The last stop had probably the best wines, but no information was shared on how the wine was produced or even what we were tasting. The young woman pouring the wine had to look at the bottle to even tell us what we were drinking.

Jill is the best!

If you are lucky enough to get Jill as a guide, you know you're going to have a good time. We were a group of 4 women in our late 30's/early 40's going on a girl's weekend to San Fran. We decided to do this tour pretty last minute and am so glad we did! Jill was entertaining and really knew her stuff about Muir Woods and Sonoma. We went to Robledo and Larson Family Wineries. When you go to Larson, find Bob. He's the best wine pourer and hilarious! Plus, who doesn't like 3 gorgeous labs to play with while you're drinking wine? Overall, I wish I could put Jill in my pocket and have her be our tour guide for every trip! Highly suggest for a worry-free, fun trip!

Our guide was very friendly, enthusiastic, and informative. It was a great way to see Muir Woods and Sonoma on a tight schedule. We were able to see a little bit of everything all in one day. The first winery wasn't the greatest, but the second one we visited was great!!

Great Tour!

We enjoyed learning a little about each area we visited. We spent just enough time in Muir Woods before heading off to Sonoma. Our guide had great recommendations for places to eat before heading to the wineries. The wine at both of our stops was on point. The quick stop in Sausalito could have been longer so we decided to take the ferry back across the bay. I recommend this to everyone.

Great tour! Our tour guide was absolutely awesome and very engaging. Answered any questions we had. We ended up not going to Suausalito by unanimous decision, but we went instead to get an iconic view of the San Francisco bridge and view the pacific ocean! Highly recommend this tour!
