Returns to original departure point
Your tour will begin in Fisherman’s Wharf, where your guide will meet you. All necessary equipment is provided on this family-friendly adventure, so you can show up and simply climb on your regular or electric bike.

Start pedaling toward Crissy Field, where runners, Frisbee throwers and beautiful views of the bay abound. You'll see the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and pass the Palace of Fine Arts, first built in 1915 and a popular venue for events and concerts today. You’ll also pass sites such as Fort Mason, Aquatic Park and the Marina district, filled with popular bars, restaurants and shops.

Then, ride across the Golden Gate Bridge just in time for the sunset. You’ll witness stunning views of Alcatraz and the city’s glimmering skyline as the Pacific Ocean stretches out on the opposite side of the bridge.

Afterward, head to the Presidio district to pass the headquarters of Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Family Museum. You’ll also see the San Francisco National Cemetery, a resting place for thousands who served in the military.

After your evening tour of San Francisco concludes, you’ll cycle back to your original departure point. Though your guide will say goodbye at Fisherman’s Wharf, you are welcome to continue using your bike for a few extra hours to explore Pier 39 or the Embarcadero on your own.

Worst tour experience ever
Christina_F
, May 2021
This was the worst tour experience I have ever had. The wind was much stronger than normal on the Golden Gate Bridge and our guide took us on it anyway. It was nearly impossible to ride your bike on it due to the strength of the wind. He should have had us turn around as it was unsafe. Two people on our group sustained injuries from falling from the wind. One electric bike malfunctioned and was not working halfway through. When asked if a truck could pick it up, the answer was they were low on staff and they didn’t have a truck. Safety should be the priority and it was not. The tour guide left everyone behind on the bridge and just waited on the other side after crossing it himself. We should get a refund for at leaat the one electric bike that malfunctioned halfway through.

Hi There, We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was less than exceptional. The windstorm you experienced on your tour is extremely rare and unfortunately this is something we can’t predict. The bridge sees hundreds of riders a day and is very safe to cross. Our tour guides are instructed to allow our customers to spend extra time on the bridge; that is why when we get up onto the bridge we will cross and wait for the group at the end to regroup then resume the tour. We are surprised to hear about the 2 incidents you reported on the tour; we checked the log for that day tour and there is no mention of any injuries or problems on that tour. We are happy to report we are well- staffed, too. As the city started to reopen a few weeks ago we have hired several new folks to rebuild our team, so we can continue to give the great customer service we are known for. For example, we include free roadside service, and we vans ready for any mechanical problems on a rental or guided tour. It sounds like there was some confusion about our procedures on top of the unusual bad weather, and we apologize for not being able to give you the best experience on your tour. Hope we can see you again next time you come to visit our city. Sincerely, Leo

This was great to get up close to the bridge. Only thing was, I thought we would of had a bit more time once on the other side of the bridge to get some great photos. But all in all was lots of fun.

So much fun! Only one less star because the personnel at the bike rental facility could have been a little more customer service oriented - the one lady at the booking counter was obviously upset with what appeared to be the manager and spent too much time swearing about her issue while we were standing there.

I think the guide was Jesse who didn't want to be there, we had a lady who was a little slower than the rest and not once did he turn around and see if she was all right or even still riding. This was the worst tour experience we had and we were travelling for 4 weeks. Jesse didn't tell anyone to be careful on the tram lines so consequently someone fell. Really, anything could happen on these rides, a guide is supposed to look after those he has on his tour, DIDNT HAPPEN

The tour is great for adults. My 11 and 13 year old kids didn't get the right sized bikes (only two kids bikes were available, both too small for my youngest. My oldest was WAY too big for the kid bikes, and too small for their smallest adult bikes.) But..we managed. The tour was a lot of fun, the tour guide was informative, although rather heavily accented. He did however have a tendency to face away from his audience which made it difficult to catch everything he was saying.
