Great tour

This was such a great tour. We learned so much and had fun doing it. There is no way we could have done all of that on our own, so it was a great way to see the wine country. Anthony was so knowledgable and friendly. Of note, the description does say that lunch is included in the tour but we were asked to pay for it ourselves. It would have been nice to know beforehand that lunch was actually not included. However, I would definitely recommend the tour.

Excellent tour with Paul

A really good value tour, well paced. Armstrong Woods walk was awesome, also a good mix of wineries from small boutique to a large commercial operation. Our driver / guide was Paul - a font of information about SFO, Sonoma and all things winemaking.

Great experience!

phil our tour guide was wonderful and very personable! he made sure we got a wonderful view of the golden gate without fog, and plenty of time to walk through armstrong redwoods. I do wish the individual wineries taught us more about how to taste and appreciate the wine. lunch was good but small! I was hoping for cheeses or crackers to pair the wine with to appreciate it better. Also so the wine didn't catch up to us at the end of the day, 3 wineries with 6 large pours at each definitely had me exhausted by the end of the day! The wineries were flexible if you said you'd prefer to try a white rather than a red! It was an older crowd and very casual, jeans and sneakers! In my opinion Harvest Moon had the best wine, and Kendall Jackson was the prettiest!

1st time in San Francisco

This was our first time in San Francisco and we are very happy that we booked the Redwood and Wine Day Trip. Phil Siegel was excellent and a very knowledgeable tour guide. I would recommend him to anyone. The only thing I would suggest is a more substantial lunch during the wine tasting. I thought we could order a whole sandwich and salad but had to settle for half of each. You really need a little more food in your stomach when you are tasting so many wines. The server at Kendall Jackson was extremely generous in his servings and could have used some munchies. Overall it was a great day and we enjoyed it very much thanks to Phil. Walt & Beth Heinrich

Fun tour of Redwoods and Sonoma

This tour started early with good communication from our guide Anthony. He texted very early regarding pickup. I was worried because we were on a cruise ship and the tour usually picks up at hotels. This relieved my worry. Anthony was fun and knowledgeable. The van was full with a group of friends from England and 3 other couples. We stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge for pix. Then went to The Redwood Forest. This was cool ...literally it was VERY cold in the Forest. We were left to walk around for an hour and 20 minutes. This was a little too long for my liking. Then we went to a small family winery. It was beautiful and we were treated very nicely. We had our lunch there. We were allowed to choose and it was good. We went to a 2nd winery that only produced wines; did not grow their grapes. Then we went to Kendall Jackson which was gorgeous. It was a good experience overall. I just wish the group had been slightly smaller. Anthony got is back to town quickly and even dropped us off in a more convenient location for us to do more touring. It was a good experience and our guide was great.

Wonderful Day! Peaceful Armstrong Woods, Fantastic Guide, Great Wine Tasting

Our tour guide was Phil S. and he made the trip awesome! Went on a mother/daughter trip and this was one of our favorite days. The group had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed the whole day. We were picked up right in front of our hotel which was very nice. We had a total of 6 on the trip. Phil ensured everyone was comfortable and provided interesting facts and fun music during the drive. Armstrong park is a quiet peaceful area where you get to connect with Nature. Muir Woods are great too, but its loud due to the wooden walkways. The tour continued on to the first wineries where we had a light lunch and delicious wines. We visited two more wineries to enjoy a few more whines. We had plenty to try and plenty of time to enjoy each stop. Thank you for a great day!
