15 minutes prior to the tour's scheduled start time meet outside the main lobby doors of Radisson Downtown hotel (215 W South Temple, Salt Lake City) and watch for the CITY SIGHTS tour bus to arrive curbside on the street. Parking is available for a small fee across the street.

This day of discovery begins with a Salt Lake City hotel pickup. Enjoy a sightseeing tour by bus, beginning at the Utah State Capitol. The building houses the chambers and offices of the Utah State Legislature, the offices of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, the State Auditor, and their staffs.

Next up is the Mormon Pioneer Trail, a 1,300-mile route that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints traveled from 1846 to 1868—and This is the Place Heritage Park, a living-history park featuring a Mormon monument, train rides, a petting zoo, and a Native-American village.

Then, experience the beautiful landscape and historic buildings of Salt Lake City's Temple Square, one of Utah's top tourist attraction; and the National Pony Express Monument, dedicated to the men of the Original Pony Express. Also, see 100-year-old mansions and churches, plus venues used in the 2002 Winter Olympic games.

Then it’s off to see the world-renowned, award-winning Tabernacle Choir, arguably one of the most celebrated choirs in history. Select from an intimate evening rehearsal on a Thursday or a full-blown concert on Sunday morning. Depending on the time of year, the performance takes place at the LDS Conference Center or the Salt Lake Tabernacle in Temple Square.

The Thursday tour includes dinner at Brigham Young’s pioneer home (own expense) before the rehearsal and the Sunday tour features lunch (own expense) after the concert.

It was such a wonderful experience and our tour guide was excellent at explaining the many different sites of Salt Lake City. We very much enjoyed the rehearsal performance with the conductor having total control and respect of the choir and band. We could not have been more pleased with our tour and attendance at the Tabernacle Choir Rehearsal. Our guide was very nice & attending the choir performance at the Tabernacle was wonderful, but the rest of the tour was way too long. It was a 6 to 6-1/2 hour tour, & there’s just not that much to see in SLC. We learned when all the important buildings were started & completed in the city - really?? That’s just not interesting to us.

My 11-year-old granddaughter and I cannot say enough about this outstanding tour experience! First of all CHRISTOPHER was so learned about all of the things on our tour and he made it so interesting, plus he was just a wonderful kind human being. My granddaughter and I had a delayed flight which was going to make it very tight for us to get to our pick up on time. Christopher called to check on us and when we got there within a minute or so of our time, he was sitting there patiently waiting. All of the information that he shared and especially the choir rehearsal were just outstanding experiences including dinner at the Lion’s house! Would recommend this tour for Kids 12 and older and any adult who appreciates a beautiful city steeped in history!!
