Coba is your first stop, with a tour of the preserved and rebuilt ruins. At its peak, Coba had a population of about 50,000 inhabitants and an area of 80 square miles (129 sq km). Walk past two ball courts and see the sacbé, or white roads, that once linked Maya cities. If you'd like, climb the 120 steep steps up Nohoch Mul—the tallest pyramid on the Yucatán Peninsula—and be rewarded with views of the dense jungle from the top.

Then head down to Cho Ha Cenote for a spectacular swim in the emerald waters of this sinkhole. Highlights include limestone stalactites formed over centuries.

From there, drive to Tulum, the only archaeological site built on the Caribbean coast. Once a thriving seaport, it housed Maya nobility and merchants within its walls. Meander the groomed paths with your guide who points out noteworthy structures such as a restored temple whose murals reveal ancient red pigments. Learn about the Spanish conquest of the city during your walk around.

The final stop on your full-day tour is Playa Paraiso (Paradise Beach), one of the most visited beaches of the Riviera Maya. Relax under a palm tree and soak up the last hours of sun or swim in the turquoise sea, with a prime view of the ruins above.

Your tour concludes with transport back to your hotel in Playa del Carmen or the Riviera Maya.

fantastic experience!

Jesus was an excellent tour guide and our driver Javier did a fantastic job! Jesus knew his history like the back of his hand and was very entertaining. He answered all of our questions and also looked our for our group when a fellow traveler was having trouble with a money transaction. I would highly recommend this tour! One thing to note - we were at a hotel in Costa Mujeres. They are doing a lot of construction on the roadways and there was a great deal of traffic. We spent about 7 hours round trip just traveling to the destination. We felt it was worth it, but it was a very long day. Lunch was included but not dinner, so plan ahead and bring snacks. They did stop for us so we could purchase some. Very accomodating and fun to be with!
Excellent Tour with a lot of history

This tour was amazing. We were blessed with Jesus (the tour guide) and Javier (the driver). Jesus was very knowledgeable and happy to share about the rich culture of the archeology sites. It was just my son and myself and we felt so safe and protected the whole time. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the archeology sites. This tour was an all day event but definitely time well spent.

Booked trip and was looking forward to it just to have it canceled for me but other people still got to go and I got charged for it instead of them waiting to charge me if they knew I was going to be booted off the trip.

You are not telling the truth and it is something we regret. No one charged him for the tour as he did not do it with us. No one from our company got money from him. You do not even know our service to rate us. Due to the restrictions due to covid19, places in one of the archaeological sites that you had to visit were limited and you were asked to reschedule your excursion one day later and told us that you could not. You did not go on the tour and you were not charged anything. Your comment is abusive and above all it is not true.
Best Tour Experience in Mexico!

Ulysses is THE BEST! The trip was absolutely flawless. Ulysses, our guide, discussed the plan for our day up front, he gave us great information at each place we visited, plus time alone to enjoy and explore. The ruins in Coba and Tulum were sensational. The cenote was my favorite part while my husband loved the Mayan buffet. It was a hot day, but every moment was worth the journey. We took other tours and this was by far our favorite adventure! Ask for Ulysses if you can!
Memorable visit to Tulum/Coba

We had Joel and Ulysses as our driver/guide. Ulysses is very knowledgeable and passionate about the Mayan culture and his passion made this tour so much more interesting and memorable. Although you can do these ruins without a tour guide, you're missing out on so much of the history and probably would not appreciate the ruins as much. He was very timely and made sure that we stayed on a flexible (but tight at the same time) schedule and I realized that he did that to make sure that we avoided the large number of people at Coba so that we can have access to the bikes. Coba was really neat and we chose to have rent bikes and that was my husband's favorite part of the tour. The Cho Ha cenote was a nice reprieve from the heat and we didn't spend too much time at the beach due to the seaweed (it was pretty stinky at the beach). The only thing I was disappointed in with the tour was you can't climb the steps of the ruins (due to past vandalism) but overall, it was an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Ulysses/Joel.
Thanks for a great day, Ulysses!

If you’re having any reservations, trust me, you won’t be disappointed! My family of four (two kids ages 10 & 13) enjoyed the tour so much! The only disappointment was the beach which we could not access due to the seaweed issue. However, that was not an issue with the tour itself as Havier or Ulysses could not control Mother Nature. Ulysses was so knowledgeable about the pyramids and the Mayan history. The included lunch was delicious! The cenote was a memorable experience that my family and I will NEVER forget. Definitely recommend this tour!
Do it!!

My husband and I enjoyed this trip immensely. We started in Tulum and our guide Jesus was wonderful about explaining the ruins. Go see them for yourself! It is super hot and there are a bunch of mosquitos so plan accordingly. We went to a small beach club and hung out for about an hour. This wasn't really a necessary stop (in my opinion), but we had very tasty tamarind margartias while lounging on a beach bed here. We went to eat lunch at a restaurant outside Coba. We had a buffet lunch on the second story of the restaurant and we had a nice view of the lake. The buffet consisted of salad with many dressing options, pulled pork, ground pork, chicken, rice, black beans, sauteed vegetables, pasta salad, cooked pasta, and soupa de lima. There was also a woman making fresh tortillas near the dessert table which had bananas in chocolate, bananas in a yogurt sauce, and some sweet breads. Coba was a short 5 minute drive from the restaurant. My husband and I chose to rent bikes and ride through the jungle to see the ruins. It was so fun and I don't recommend walking this. It is too hot and too long, but perfect on the bike. You can also have someone bike for you on a little tricycle/ cart. After Coba, we swam in a cenote and it was awesome. The water feels much too cold at first, but really warms up and feels relaxing and refreshing. All four stops were wonderful and our driver Javier and guide Jesus were very good.

Our tour guide Jesus was great. He was very clear about our activities throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and culture of the Yucatán Peninsula. Our driver Luis was also persistent and careful.
AWESOME tour with an amazing guide!

This excursion hits everything in one trip! Our guide, Martin, and driver, Joel, were wonderful! Martin provided a wealth of knowledge and history and was very gracious in answering our questions and going out of his way to make our experience a great one! From the magical ruins, to the mystical cenote, to the delicious lunch, everything was an awesome experience! You will definitely require sunscreen and there will be a lot of walking/climbing plus possible biking included. We loved this tour and would definitely recommend this over all others!
Awesome ruins and cenote trip
