Fantastic day in Lancaster, despite the onclement, windy weather.
, Nov 2019
Our day in Lancaster was superb with every segment of the trip running like clockwork. Our guides were so knowlegable and so passionate. The movie was a great introduction and all experiences were linked to the main character in the movie. I had chosen this particular trip because it talked about a trip to an Amish Quilt Shop. I was devastated to learn on the day that this wasn't so. To my absolute delight the staff were able to accommodate my wish - the highlight of my trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful day.

I had the opportunity to go on this tour with my dad and we both had a very good time. Good people, food & experience. They made transportation very easy and tour guides knowledgeable.

Loved this trip. Had no problems with the pick up or train travel to Lancaster. The whole day was organised well.
Amazing Experience

This tour was EXCELLENT. It was well organized and full of information. Seeing how the Amish live was an eye opening experience and was worth the money. My teenage son and I really enjoyed this tour .
Well organised tour

We booked this tour from our home in Northern Ireland after reviewing previous favourable comments. Very easy to book on line and retrieve our reservations. Picked up from our city centre hotel by a very courteous driver who took us to the main train station and even took us inside to show us where we get the train. Amtrak excellent. Picked up by cab at Lancaster, again, on time. Visitor experience very good and afternoon bus trip very educational. Perhaps it would have been nice to be offered a choice of either a farm visit, quilt making or general store. No hesitation in recommending this full day trip. 👍
Interesting visit

Really enjoyed the tour. However did not realise that the tour payment basically covered the transport to Lancaster (train/uber). We were dropped at the Centre and left to organise the actually activities ourselves. Overall the activities were interesting, however we could have easily got our own way there and undertook the tour ourselves.

I was disappointed with the experience. You do not interact with the Amish and visit their home, rather a museum like setting at a commercialized stop. It was a wasted day that could have been completed in half the time on your own. The theatre presentation was sesnsationalized and can not be what the Amish would approve. I did learn some things about the Amish on the home tour, however it is a mock up of what a home would be, not a true Amish home. The bus tour was interesting and the guide was a local who knew all the surrounding farms. You simply drive by at a clipped place, pointing out things through the window. They were organized and prompt with the transportation. You are picked up at your hotel location, transported to the train station, picked up by a taxi service from the train station and transported to the Amish Experience. After the shuttle tour we were ubered back to the train and a shuttle bus picked us up and transported us back to our hotel. Not the tour we had invisioned.
Not an experience at all
, May 2019
Disappointing day really. We had no interaction with the Amish at all. Not even a Buggy Ride. Saw a video and a mock up of an Amish house and School. A ride in a bus through farmlands and that was it. Expensive day out really. Would not recommend, this particular trip. Sorry.
It was not a real amish experience!!!
, May 2019
It was promised a amish experience but it did not happen. We stayed most of the time in a facility where some non amish people explained the way of their living. We used a van in the afternoon to see some farms by the window... and one stop in a amish shop. The guide was not very good.
Excellent Trip

Tour guides were very knowledgeable. BBQ house at Amish Experience location was fantastic. Very enjoyable even with the rain. shuttle to/from hotel to Train station was the most difficult part. Identification stickers provided did not stick (upset shuttle driver on return). shuttle taking to train was better - she was helpful.
