The Noosa Everglades include numerous tributaries, lakes and wetlands along the upper Noosa River, which runs through the Cooloola Recreation Area within Great Sandy National Park. Meet your guide at a convenient location in Noosa, then set out for the Noosa Everglades, which are located about 25 miles (40 km) away.

Cruise through the Noosa Everglades in a sturdy all–weather boat with large viewing windows. Your expert captain moves at a faster clip across Lake Cooroibah and Lake Cootharaba, then slows down in the Everglades, allowing you to observe the scenery closely. During your tour, hear informative commentary about the range of animal and plant life that thrives in this part of the Sunshine Coast.

After cruising the everglades, return to Habitat Noosa. Relax and enjoy an antipasto banquet while overlooking Lake Cootharaba. In this natural parkland, you may spot a few kangaroos before heading back to Noosa on the courtesy shuttle bus.

The Noosa River system is unique as its entire upper catchment is protected in National Park. Throughout your cruise take the opportunity to observe and photograph the abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat. Over 44% of all Australia’s bird species reside within this spectacular region - which is more than Kakadu National Park in an area 25 times smaller. “Discover an unspoiled part of Noosa - Australia’s Everglades. Pristine water full of life. Our Guide kept us consumed with the beauty of the place and the knowledge he shared was fantastic. It also included nibbles along the way and a fantastic tapas to wrap up a magical afternoon. I recommend this great half day tour to everyone!” At the end of the tour you can enjoy a delicious snack tapas, go for a walk around Habitat Noosa and maybe even spot a few of our local kangaroos before concluding a great afternoon in Australia's only Everglades.

How’s the serenity….. 🥰

Beautiful scenic location. Arrived early, bought coffees from the bar bistro area. Rained pretty heavy this day, but was still able to do the cruise. Tour guide was good, he knew a lot of great info on the area, and was funny.. but was hard to hear at times, over the boat engine and people talking.. The scenery while boating around, was stunning, we really do live in the best country !! The antipasto plates at the end, were brilliant ! Well done. Downfall- noisy, half tanked tourists, that talked loudly, about everything Else in their lives, apart from actually enjoying the cruise.. that spoiled it for us, as we also paid hard earned holiday money, to also enjoy the experience.

Long wait, disorganised, dangerous path for older passengers past the bridge to the boat. Put down the windows AFTER we were wet. Not anywhere near enough information about the “Everglades” Very expensive for such a short tour.

Thank you for your feedback Lesley. Being located in a National Park we are unable to concrete pathways or interfere with the natural surrounding. We normally receive raving reviews relating to the commentary about the flora, fauna, history and everglades so it is disappointing you were not happy with this part of the tour. The price point once again is normally regarded as very good based on the numerous inclusions, with return transfers from Noosa, glass of bubbles, anti pasto plate, juice, full commentary and the purpose built vessel. The 6 hour tour delves further into the Everglades to perhaps this would be more suitable with further enhanced commentary, stops at Fig Tree Point and historic Harry's Hut before returning to Habitat should you return.
we loved the cruise but...
, Dec 2021
we loved the cruise but were dissapointed that some passengers spent most of it at the front of the boat and were not asked to rotate with other passengers. I personally thought the food provided after the trip was not as good as it sounded on the blurb.

Thank you for the feedback Dianne. We will take it on board and hope to see you again, soon.

An excellent experience which can be spoilt by other selfish passengers.
, Nov 2021
The trip was excellent good organisation, friendly and informative staff but was somewhat spolt by a group of selfish passengers who stood at the front of the boat for the best part of the trip through the everglades thus blocking the view of the other two thirds of the passengers behind them. They also devoured the better part of the excellent anti pasta feast provided afterwards before anyone else could get close. But for this, we would have given this trip a five star rating.
