Vine & Dine Bicycle Wine Tour - Niagara On The Lake - With Lunch

Great day with Mark! Very knowledgeable, and was able to keep up for most part with my girlfriend on the biking! Next time, we will take a limo for my sake.

We had the pleasure of having Mark as our personal tour guide and he was absolutely lovely! He went at a good pace and made sure to check we were ok throughout. He briefed and prepared us on each winery we visited before heading in. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour experience. Side note, some of the pours for the tastings are quite generous so maybe don’t consume too much if you’re about to reach your limit

Our tour guide Johnny was amazing! Very knowledgeable, fun and easy going! He made sure we had everything we needed along the way. Very experienced and entertaining.

Johnny, our tour guide was very friendly. The bikes were in excellent condition. The lunch was a delicious gourmet sandwich. We lucked out and had gorgeous weather for our bike tour.

It was a really great tour. It was a lot of fun, and Johnny was entertaining. The second winery was over booked, so very rushed and not enjoyable which resulted with no one purchasing wine. Also this tour is very much for an experienced rider. Even though it is broken up, it is 21km total, no hills, but you pedal constantly. Tiring for your average person. Great exeprience, beautiful scenery. Wonderful anniversary!!

It was a wonderful experience touring from winery to winery. We had a lot of fun with our guide Johnny! On a critical note, the lunch could have been better. Why not include a peach or grapes from the region!! Also, don’t expect to go to wineries mentioned when you book the tour. Anyway, the ones they chose were great. It’s a must to do!!!

I don't know if this was viators fault or the tour company's, but we were given false information. This is a community bike tour so we had to follow the guide with 14 other people! I had called Viator several times to confirm if this was community or Independent wine tour. I kept receiving different information from the CSR's and the last person I spoke to confirmed the bike ride would be independent. The problem with the community bike ride was that we kept getting left behind for example, when there was a red light we had to bike real fast to catch up. This was not relaxing or fun at all. It felt like we were racing throughout the tour. We finally did get left behind and had no idea where to go. After 15 minutes of calling around, the tour company finally came through. They offered us a ride to the next vinery and a ride back to the starting point that we really appreciated. The wine tasting experience was fun too. All the wineries did a great job at giving us a proper tour except for Joseph's estate Wine. The sommelier ignored my friend and I, and served everyone else. Then another group came in, and she started serving them instead of prioritising us! We were still two glass behind. Our community group was ready to leave, so we quickly had to gulp down our last 2 glasses of wine . Our favorite wine tour was from Lakeview winery! The sommelier was informative and engaging and the estate is absolutely beautiful! Viator needs to change the title to "community vine and dine tour" or have a smaller group, so people don't get lost, or even just have another guide riding at the back.

The tour was good, the food was not the greatest. In overal it was good the guide was great so kind I will recomended.

We had a great day on this tour - our very first time to ride, drink, and be merry. We were picked up by our guide at our hotel in Niagara Falls. Upon arriving at the CTG offices, we were given some simple instructions, an idea of how the day will look, a bike, helmet and water bottle to get us started. Then, off we went to our first winery. The ride was relaxing and not hard at all - the whole day was like this. Once in the winery, our guide, Chris, helped us in terms of what questions to ask our server and what to look for (he asked, we listened and then we knew what to ask in the next 3 wineries). Then, he left us to enjoy the time inside while he sat with the bikes and our belongings and to make arrangements for lunch. Our second winery, was great too (Chris guarded the bikes and waited for us outside - no rush, at our leisure and convenience) and then we rode right across the street to a market with trees for shading (great to have) and picnic tables - our lunch was waiting there nicely bagged with lots of cold cold water bottles. Relaxing lunch (chicken sandwich and other great stuff as well as for our other 2 friends, vegetarian meals. They'll get you Vegan, Gluten-free, whatever your needs are, they accommodate you and then some) and then after a fantastic gourmet lunch (thanks to Lorenzo catering) off to our next two wineries. Chris was great the entire journey - knowledgeable, always making sure we were doing okay, good pace so nobody (especially me) would be over-stressed or fall behind. He took care of all our needs, answered our questions about wine, Niagara, Covid, life in general, and if we wanted to stop somewhere for a picture or check something out, no problem. He had the schedule/timed appts at wineries and we were always there on time. Any issues? - we had none whatsoever, but if there were, we were very sure that Chris would've solved it with one phone call. All in all, the day couldn't have been better - good friends, amazing weather, comfy bikes, our leader,Chris was top-notch, award-winning wineries visited were very very good and gave us so much to drink (very generous glasses), and CTG admin (the best), all were great. When we bought wine bottles at each of the 4 wineries (yeah, we bought about 10 bottles, that's how good the wine was), we didn't have to take them with us - they put your name on the bag and CTG picks up the bottles for you and you get them back at the offices when you drop off your bike and helmet. You couldn't ask for more! One great thing was that CTG actually returns calls, texts, and emails and promptly too - made our planning easy and we felt comfortable. Unfortunately, some other organizations not as conscientious and accommodating as them. We will always call CTG for our Niagara area needs - just call them for whatever you need really,and they'll take care of you! Ten Stars if we could!
