Upon entering Rockefeller Center, pass through security and ride up to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck, open 365 days a year.

The view is as dramatic a sight as anyone can get in New York City. Day or night, the three floors of indoor and outdoor decks serve to impress. Take in the scenery from a comfortable seat or use binoculars for unobstructed views through glass panels on the 67th and 69th floors and in the open air observatory on the 70th floor. On all three levels, have a photo taken by a Kodak pro and pick it up on the way out.

I’m not even sure I would give one star (and I don’t have high expectations). The views are brilliant, yes. But the experience at the top of the rock is absolutely horrible. It was over capacity, you wouldn’t think there was an thought of distance considering covid still looms (May 2022). We felt like we were in a rabbit hutch. The glass screens around the edge at filthy - why aren’t these being cleaned through the day? I felt unsafe and I wouldn’t recommend.

Having a 360 view of the city was awesome as you can also see into central park. We travelled with a baby in a buggy and all the staff were extremely warm and helpful, making sure we had access and assistance when needed

We were given the wrong location as to where to be picked up. I had to call several ones for correct address. The driver barely spoke English on telling us where to go and how to board. Missed our original pick up location. What a complete waste!!!!

The view was GREAT! But the time waiting in multiple lines was TERRIBLE (down a long staircase to start, then waiting in 3 different long lines to go up & then the escalator to the 69 floor did not work)! World Train Center Top-of-the World was much better.

We booked and confirmed in advance. We were told that the Top of The Rock was open until midnight everyday so we planned to go there after our show let out. Arrived at 11:10 only to find it closed. So our purchase was wasted. Very frustrating.

The top of the building was great because you get a 360 view of the whole city. I personally liked this better than the Empire State Building bc it feels higher up being leveled with the other skyscrapers. 10/10 would do again!

This experience was mind blowing, the views from the Top of the Rock observation deck are stunning. I would absolutely recommend this to others, and exchanging the Viator voucher when we arrived in New York was really easy. The weather forecast wasn't good for the date we'd originally booked, but they were very flexible in letting us change our date and we had brilliant weather and an amazing view! I would use Viator again.
