Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Take to the New York City skies for a helicopter flight above the landmarks of the Big Apple.

Head to the downtown Manhattan Heliport on Pier 6 for your flight. Your exact takeoff will depend upon the option selected, with morning, midday, afternoon and late afternoon time frames available. Once you’re strapped in to your state-of-the-art Bell 407 helicopter, it’s time to begin your ride.

Glide into the air as the ground recedes below you, watching as some of the city’s most famous parks, buildings and landmarks come into view. Near downtown Manhattan you’ll be able to see Governor’s Island, Ground Zero, the Statue of Liberty and greater New York Harbor. Continue up the edge of the island, admiring the majestic views of skyscrapers along the way, before reaching the USS Intrepid, a World War II-era aircraft carrier that now houses a museum.

Head back down the Hudson River, taking in sweeping views of the city and well-known landmarks like the Chrysler Building, Met Life Building and Empire State Building as you fly. Back down near the city’s harbor you’ll be able to spy historic Ellis Island, once the entry point for millions of immigrants in search of a better life in the United States, along with other New York attractions like Battery Park, the Federal Reserve Bank and the New York Stock Exchange.

Whether you’re a seen-it-all New Yorker or visiting the city for the first time, this aerial ride is a trip to remember.

Is not like in the picture. Try a different one because this one don’t get close to the statute of liberty There was other helicopters flying closer

Hello Gabriel_G, Thank you for your review. Please know that for safety and security, Helicopter Tours in NYC are highly regulated. Tour Operators like us are given a set of parameters on the flight route (we are only allowed to fly over the Hudson River) and how close we can get to the Statue of Liberty. There are markers on the water that help guide Pilots, making that line the "invisible wall". No one is allowed to cross that barrier. Our Pilots will always follow what is legally allowed and will put the safety and security of our passengers first. Thank you.

We had an incredible time. From a smooth check-in to take off. From the clean aircraft to a friendly and experienced pilot. From the sweeping panoramic views of the city, to the informative tour of famous land marks. Wonderful company to book through and great adventure to experience. We will return!

Overpriced and unprofessional staff and service
Damian_A
, Aug 2021
A few words come to mind - unprofessional, overpriced and prison-like treatment. The staff was unwelcoming and regurgitated lines like they were reading from a poorly worded script. On top of the cost of tickets, you pay a “heliport” fee of $40 per person. What is this fee for? Who knows. Then you are forced to pay $2 to store you bag in a locker because you cant take it on board as if it would mess up the loadsheet for the helicopter. They act as if the place is a secured environment and ban you from taking your own pictures so that they can charge you $25 for pictures that they take from a cheap 3mp point and shoot camera. No Nikon. No Cannon. No thanks. They also yelled at a fellow passenger for trying to take a picture by the helicopter. He probably went into solitary confinement afterward. We left with a bad taste left. There are better tour providers than these jokers out there. I wouldn’t even recommend it to Stevie Wonder. Spend your money elsewhere.

Hello Damian_A, We are sorry to hear you did not feel welcome nor had a good experience while taking your Tour. This is not what we want our customers to feel. The Heliport Fee of $40 is disclosed in the Viator/Trip Advisor Description of the Tour. It is not something we hide. On the contrary, we want you to know about it! If you book your flight we will assume you've read the Disclosure and have agreed to it. We also take pictures but do not force anyone to buy them. At the end of the day, for privacy and security, the pictures are deleted. Thank you.

Hello Telman_A, Thank you for your review. Helicopter Tours in NYC are highly regulated. We are given a set of parameters - on where to fly, on the flight route and also how close we can get to buildings, structures, etc. Our Pilots will always follow this rule. Thank you.

Not worth the money. 200$ to see nothing besides the Statue of Liberty. Ridiculous. Not to mention the 40$ they charge once you get there. An absolute rip off
icon Response from Host , Sep 2021
