Great walking food tour! Got to taste a variety of food at several stops, and the guide was knowledgeable about the neighborhood and very entertaining. We went back to several of the stops in the subsequent days to try other menu items. Kossar’s for a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel is an absolute must!

This was the most amazing tour I've ever had on a sightseeing trip! You have to do it! And Dante, the tour guide, the most fantastic, fun, and friendly person you'll ever meet. He will automatically be your best friend. You'll feel like you made a friend for life, I know I feel that way! If you want to experience the Lower East Side like a local, and try amazing, authentic, ethnic food, then this tour is for you. If you want to enjoy and celebrate locally owned, multigenerational family businesses, this tour is for you. If you want to learn about how immigrants to NYC lived and made a life for them and their families, then this tour is for you. If you want to feel good and celebrate New York City, this tour is for you. It is just absolutely spectacular. I am so, so glad I took it and the next time I visit NYC, I will take another tour with Dante!

We went in the off season and had a vip tour given by Billy. Billy was fantastic for me and my 14 year old son. We throughly enjoyed walking around the city and tasting some amazing foods. My son still talks about Billy’s one liners that made us both laugh. Thank you so much for the laughs and the great food.

I had a great time. I loved the stops we made. The food was delicious, especially at Katz's Deli. There's certainly plenty of it. I enjoyed the indoor market we wandered around. I wouldn't have known it was there. It's great that this tour company accepts solo travelers--I had no trouble booking just myself. I guess because his tours are often full! I recommend it for a good intro to the area.

Our guide Billy, was fabulous! He absolutely made the tour! The food was all outstanding. He was even prepared with packaged food when he knew the line would be too long to wait. Donuts, bagels, and Katz Deli were our favorites. It was all good and interesting history of the area. Excellent. A must do!
