Justin gave a great tour of Flatiron
Cherie
, Oct 2021
Hearing about the historical perspective of the monumental buildings. Guide Justin was excellent . He had a great slide presentation and we were ecstatic to learn about the little food locations that he took us to.

Waited way too long for food. Ruined tour.

Rating is especially low because we had to wait nearly 30 mins at Zuckers. Dessert very bad at Baker Bread. Bread at Eatily not representative of typical offering (sugar on Focaccia)? History was very interesting but too long before food. I have done numerous food tours and it is always “run in and grab food”. Not stand in line and wait like a regular customer. Two of our tour group gave up and left early. We wanted to but decided to stick around.

Hi Lynda - thank you for this feedback and also the email that you sent me. We really apologize that there was a wait at two of our restaurant stops. We work with these partners several times a week and what happened is completely unacceptable. I know the tour guide purchased extra food to try to make up for the wait, but I understand that there was still a wait. We are working to make sure this doesn't happen again. We are in touch with you about making this right, but I wanted to respond to your review publicly. Your experience is not representative of our tours and I sincerely apologize that you did not have a good experience.

History + Architecture=. Amazing tour

Justin had so much info to share and we loved it. I am a retired American History teacher, my granddaughter, an Interior Designer and the info we already knew was told accurately and always Justin breathed a fresh perspective into the stories we knew.

Great tour

Lovely tour. Our guide Justin was knowledgeable and friendly, the tastings were good, and we learned a lot about a part of the city that there aren't many tours of.

Breaking bread with fellow tour members as we dug into an excellent Reuben sandwich was memorable. “Touring” a franchised chain like Eataly was certainly NOT memorable.

Justin was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable. Great food stops with all the NY flair. There is a good bit of walking involved but the tour was well designed with frequent stopping points.

The food was definitely sub par. The guide- incredibly knowledgeable but dry. A little humor goes a long way!

My boyfriend enjoyed the history a lot. This food was pretty good as well. Kind of nice that we got a private tour since no one else signed up (they recently reopened since covid)

This is a great tour! Justin knows a lot of history about the area, the buildings and the food. He also shows historical photos on his iPad for comparison and knows a lot of fun facts as well. The food stops were both interesting and delicious. Our teenage boys enjoyed the tour as much as we did. We highly recommend this tour!
