Lots of heat, but not much fire

An interesting hour. I think we might have signed up for the wrong tour. We had lots of questions about art and history and food,, but he kept telling us that this isn’t that kind of tour. We hurried us through alleys and side streets, and we ended up in a restaurant with a broken fridge. It was the hottest time of the day, and he was struggling with the heat quite a bit. Maybe, on a different day, it would have been a better experience.

We really enjoyed this tour that provides insight into Milanese cuisine and culture. While walking some of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Milan, you get sample an aperitif, appetizers, wine, and risotto. We had a great time with our host, Roberto.

My husband and I had 2 days in Milan before heading to the Lakes district. We booked this tour for the afternoon we arrived. Roberto was superb. He had just had knee surgery but showed up on time and could not have been more charming as he led us through the city. His knowledge of Milan is expansive, so we were able to get the best highlights whilst enjoying the occasional stop for a drink or food. I have done many of these tours in other cities and can highly recommend his as one of the very best. A Must Do!

There were just two of us. The walk was good and we received a lot of good relevant historical information. However we just went to two places for food/wine sampling. One for a traditional drink and the other for two wine samples and some cheeses and meats and pizza samples. We enjoyed it but after attending a second walking tour with food and wine tasting in Florence going to five places with 14 people - it was much better.

This was a fantastic tour! Our tour guide Roberto was very likely the best tour guide we've ever had! He was lively, animated, engaging, and very, very knowledgeable about Milan. The two hours absolutely flew by, and we were a little saddened when the tour was over and we had to part ways. This is a great opportunity to sample some traditional Italian dishes and wines, and also a fantastic way to learn so much about Milan. I highly recommend both this tour and Roberto!

Though it was a rainy and a bit chilly evening for us, we learned a lot and enjoyed our tour enormously which speaks to the excellence of our guide. Our guide is a Milanese and did a superb job of educating us on the beautiful, and likely little known by tourist, area along the canals of Milan. We enjoyed great conversation with our new, and fellow tourist, from Australia and our guide. We sampled some delicious wines and learned a lot about them because one of our stops was at a little wine shop who's owner is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed enough snacks that dinner was unnecessary. Highly recommended and should be experienced in addition to the known highlights of Milan! Take the path less traveled.

Great option for a walking tour of Milan. Roberto was a great tour guide--very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He was very proactive about contacting for the meeting spot, and once the tour started, he knew all the key spots in Milan. After the tour, he even provided great recommendations for local hot spots and restaurants worth trying. He truly wanted to make his guests feel welcome in his city. He took us to local bar not often frequented by other tourists. The wine tasting and food samples was simply amazing. You get a variety of reds and a white wine with an assorted traditional Milanese appetizers. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to do a bit of walking, talking, and learning about the city and sampling of the local cuisines afterwards.
