Meet your guide and tour group in central Kraków in the morning, and climb aboard a bus for the roughly 1.5-hour drive to Auschwitz. Along the way, get an orientation to the site’s painful history and 1945 Soviet liberation through a documentary video.

When you arrive, take a short bathroom break before beginning a 2-hour guided tour of the Auschwitz I site, which served as the one-time SS administrative center during World War II. Learn about the estimated 1.5 million Jews and other targeted people who were murdered here through a series of museum displays and live commentary from your guide. Headsets will be provided for groups of more than 10 people to ensure everyone can hear clearly.

Return to the bus for a short drive to the neighboring Auschwitz II-Birkenau site, where the majority of mass executions took place during the camp’s operation. Throughout the tour, you will see the remnants of prison barracks, gas chambers, a crematorium, and railroad tracks that have been preserved as a reminder of one of Europe's darkest chapters. After 1 hour at Auschwitz II-Birkenau, return to the bus for the drive back to Kraków.

Don't use this company

This company is basically just a ticket and bus service. They do not give the tour. They give you your ticket at the meeting point in town and then herd you onto a disgustingly filthy bus. The staff at Auschwitz gives you headsets and provides a guide that speaks your chosen language. This guide then walks you around the facility explaining everything you see. The Auschwitz tour itself is good however I would not recommend booking with this company. There are many options to get to Auschwitz without using an "organized tour service" such as this. I wish I would have researched this a bit before booking a tour with this company. The bus that took us to Auschwitz did not look like it had been cleaned since the pandemic started. The windows were all greasy from people leaning their heads against them and there were food crumbs as well as drink and other food stains on the plastic portions of the seats (armrests, tray tables, etc.). Stuff that could have been easily cleaned up had they just wiped it down. When we got back to Krakow, there was another group waiting to board our bus. I'm sure this bus is rarely cleaned and certainly not sanitized. It was really gross.

Highly recommend visiting but not with this company. The guide was knowledgeable, the down side. This trip was very rushed, the guide moved so quickly some older members of the group couldn't keep up. If you didn't keep up,you missed out. I wouldn't recommend using this company. Very limited time!

The tour was very well organised and our English speaking guide was brilliant. He shared some amazing anecdotes and was passionate in his guiding of both sites. I would strongly recommend this tour.

It was an informative and educational tour and an important place to visit. Our guide was knowledgeable but earphones can drop in and out so it's a good idea to stay near the guide. Breaks are very short and rushed, bring food as queues can be long. Wrap up if you're going in winter.

Voyage très bien organisé mais trop court sur place, la visite d'Auschwitz a presque été faite à la course et il y a eu trop d'attente à l'entrée. Il faudrait plus de temps.
