Bad day for a museum visit
Patti_M
, May 2022
When we arrived, we couldn’t get in the door. There were hundreds of kids streaming out. I was there with my 3 year old and we had our tickets on the phone. After standing in line, we were directed to another line to get a ticket. The wait was over 20 minutes so we opted to leave. I emailed to ask if we could get a refund and never heard back. 😿

The HMNS is an outstanding museum, literally world class. Well worth the time to visit. It has the largest exhibit space for dinosaurs in North America and the Egyptology section is huge. Make time for it!

The younger kids were not as interested in most things, but it worked out and it was just a little bit of a quicker museum experience for us.

Dinosaur lovers should go
Julie_R
, Apr 2022
Went in the beginning of April and 30% of the exhibits were closed. The dinosaur section was great. If you like taxidermy there was a lot of taxidermy animals. The gems were nice to look at. If you have to make a choice go with the zoo. Parking is free at the zoo and within walking distance of the museum.

I loved the Ramses the great pharaoh exhibit. Very interesting to learn about a world before electronics and flying.
