  • To comply with the social distancing rules specific for COVID 19 you will notice that we have implemented maximum passenger numbers for each of the spaces around the vessel. These maximum numbers are identified by posters in each of these areas. Additionally, during the whale watching season, whale watching viewing circle dots will be marked around the deck s. These dots will be spaced a minimum of 1.5m apart. Each dot will allow for up to 2 persons from a family group to stand in that space (for example one adult and one child from the same family may stand on the same dot). Please note that the number of dots does NOT equal the maximum passengers for each area but are there as a guide to help you choose a safe distance between yourself and other passengers. For the safety of all onboard we ask that you adhere to these restriction
  • You will be asked to use our hand sanitizer station when boarding the vessel. Additionally, other hand sani tizer stations will be set up at key entry and exit points of the vessel and you will be encouraged to use these throughout the tour.
  • We are abiding by the laws in place and will ask questions on arrival which may impact your ability to travel you must not have travelled to australia from overseas within the past 14 days, You must not have travelled to a 'hot-spot' in the last 14 days nor can you have either contracted or been in contact with someone who is Covid-positive

What an unforgettable day onboard the Tasman Venture. The staff were very well organised and accomodating to all guests. The boat driver was fantastic. They made the day a very personal experience. We saw the beauty of K’gari and loved the activities of kayaking, snorkelling and the tube ride was great fun. The lunch was scrumptious. We will do this again next time we visit Harvey Bay. Thank you for such a memorable day.

My family and I had one of the best day of our lifes. The activities and itinerary is perfectly planned for everyone to have fun. The crew is awesome and make you feel welcome. In our trip, my parents didnt have much experience with activities in the water and Kiara and the others made them feel comfortable and supported. Totally recommended, will do it again :)

Fantastic day out to this beautiful Island. Really recommend this trip, great to be away from the hoards and experience the peace and quiet of such a stunning island. Kayaking through the mangroves was wonderful. We even spotted a dingo running along the beach. Really felt like we were on a deserted dessert island.

Although it was a rainy day we enjoyed this trip! That is how good it was. We set off to the remote side of Fraser and were alone with nature. We snorkeled in the very different waters compared to reefs, but it was still interesting and a lot of fishes. We also loved the kayaking in the mangrove creeks, it was so serene and exiting at the same time. Very nice crew and arrangements perfect.

Full day of adventure on this trip was great. The whales were very active so most of trip was spent following the whales. We saw more than 50 humpback whales with lots of different behaviors to entertain us most of the day. The trip had a couple of stops on Fraser Island to go kayaking and snorkeling as well as climbing a large sand dune. Lunch and snacks were great and the crew was very helpful. The naturalist was very knowledgeable about all the fauna and flora we saw. Even got to see some dingos from the boat.
