8:00 AM

After booking, the operator will contact you about pickup time.

Begin the tour by getting picked up at your central Dubrovnik hotel and then head out of the city via comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the view of the Adriatic and the Dubrovnik Riviera and the rural Konavle region, as your guide drives the van and gives you background on the history of Montenegro, a diminutive and overlooked Balkan country.

After crossing the border, ride along the coast roads, which curve around bay after bay. Admire the beautiful Bay of Kotor, Europe’s southernmost fjord, and stop in the village of Risan for a photo opportunity and to stretch your legs.

Later, hop out of the van to explore Perast. Stroll the streets and learn about the devastating earthquake that rocked the village in the 1970s, destroying much of the medieval town. Take in some of the Gothic and baroque buildings and then get on a boat to cruise out to a tiny island to check out the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks (at own expense).

After a boat ride back, get back in the van and ride to Kotor. The walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a fun stroll. Pop into the Cathedral of St. Tryphon and take some time to explore on your own.

Travel south and stop at the island of Sveti Stefan, once a medieval fishing village, linked by a short isthmus to the mainland. It is now a luxury hotel.

Finally, head on to Budva, a walled city on the sea, sort of like a mini Dubrovnik. Drink in the views of the sea and take some time to relax on the beach or walk the narrow lanes inside the walls.

After some free time to explore, meet the guide at the prearranged time and start your journey back to Dubrovnik. Enjoy one last delight—a ferry crossing along the Bay of Kotor—and then finish your tour in the late afternoon back at your hotel.

Cross the border to Montenegro and travel along the picture-perfect Montenegro coast, typified by sweeping blonde-sand beaches. Private trip to Montenegro

Our private day trip to Montenegro was fantastic. Our driver Ivan picked us up on time, had great knowledge of Croatia, Montenegro and the history of the region, which was really interesting to hear during the journey. Everything was seamless - we stopped at the Lady of the Rock, Bay of Kotor and Budva. Would 100% recommend.

Sharing stories with our driver Eva. She was so delightful, informative and sweet. Because of her, our trip was fantastic. There was a problem trying to contact Viator because my phone could not do emails, calls or texts. We tried calling from another phone during business hours, but could never reach any one. There has to be better communication when in another country.

Full day montenegro tour

The description of the tour stated guided tours in Kotor and Perast, but the person who supposed to be guide stated that she is not licensed in Montenegro. Unfortunately, she could not tell much about sites on the way as well. She was trying but talking more about her personal life then history, culture and traditions. The driver was courteous and professional. We spent over 2 weeks in Croatia and enjoyed quite a few tours but this one was a disappointment.

Great trip with lots to see and definitely worth it. Only tip for passengers is to take/bring motion sickness medication. The driver was great but the roads curve back and forth a lot.

This tour was just incredible. Ivan was our guide and I cannot say enough great things about him. He’s exceptionally knowledgeable about this entire region, it’s history, and people and just a fascinating person to talk to. He made everything fun and customized the trip for us based on what we want to do. Montenegro was very beautiful and we felt very lucky to have the chance to go with someone who made the trip so much better than we could’ve imagined. Highly highly recommended. But bring good shoes to walk the walls in Kotor!!

Taking this tour was the best decision ever! We were able to chose our own adventure and our guide Drazen was extremely knowledgeable and polite. He never rushed us, made sure we're comfortable and gave great suggestions on what to see and where to go next. We will remember this trip thanks to him.

I had a wonderful day with my driver, Ivan. He was really nice and shared some really interesting facts & also the boarder crossing and everything else went very smooth. Perast & especially Kotor were stunning! Budva was nice too but for me the first two stops were just amazing. Overall a nice experience which I would definitely recommend!

Wouldn't book again with super tours

My review is based on 2 parts. The guide Ivan was wonderful. Very knowledgable and great driver. Gave us many tips and information. I would definitely go on a private tour with 'Ivan again. Though, I only give 4 stars and would give less but Ivan was great because of the way this company handled my booking. I had questions and called them several times the day before to find out meeting point, to see who is my driver, or any information they can give me. I contacted them several times through whatsup and they declined my call 5 times. They only answered my partner through text and never answered either one of our calls. I also emailed them and even up till 4 days later I still haven't heard from them. This is extremely unprofessional. and would not recommend this company because of this. I shouldn't have to spend a few hours trying to verify my tour.
