The tour begins with pickup from your local hotel — Pick up at 8:00am for Nadi area hotels, 8:30am for Denarau area hotels, Coral Coast Resorts will be advised at the time of booking. Tours depart daily except Sundays (No School Tour on Saturdays & On School Holidays)
Start the day with morning pickup from your hotel in Nada, Denarau, or the Coral Coast.

During the scenic drive in an air-conditioned vehicle, stop into a local school for 30 minutes to meet the local students, take photos of their school, and have the option to donate school supplies.

Head to Lawai Pottery Village where the residents welcome you with a kava ceremony and entertainment that gives you insight into a village's daily life and and Fiji's rich cultural traditions. 

Continue to Kula Eco Park, the world's biggest breeding center for the endangered Fiji crested iguana. Follow wooden walkways during a guided tour that leads you through pristine coastal forest. There, you can observe animals like iguanas, parrots, turtles, fruit doves, fruit bats, and more as your guide points out the plants and animals in the different habitats. 

Shop for souvenirs and purchase lunch (own expense) in Sigatoka town before your driver returns you to your resort to end your tour after eight hours.

Deo was great! Very informative about the country and history. Our visit to the school and the village were interesting. Loved seeing the pottery demonstration and crafts. Kula Eco Park had some very nice free-flight bird areas and educational displays. Only downside was that we wished we had more time in some of the places.

Great experience, would highly recommend. Driver was very good, the visit to the school was lovely and enjoyed the songs the children performed for us. Kula Park was nice, and the Village visit was very interesting.

Travelling as a group of two, we were expecting this to be a bus tour with other people. So we were surprised when it was just us and our guide/driver, Vikki, in a sedan. He was punctual in arriving at the hotel, a friendly guy and we never felt rushed that we were trying to keep to a particular timetable. The school, eco park, and traditional village all made for an interesting change from our resort in Denarau.

absolutely excellent, would highly recommend - the Eco Park is of a reasonable size but the interaction with the animals is great. Also their repatriation and breeding programs in relation to the iguana is commendable and they are doing something positive. The staff were very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The local school was outstanding, they greeted us with a song and it was great to interact with the kids, go and enjoy this and think how lucky we are we are from Australia - highly recommend this package tour it is great and it is nice to give something back to these beautiful people.
