It was very educational. Rodrigo did a great job explaining everything. But I would suggest to make it efficient to com file a video and watch it on the bus on the way to the site. These way the guest would have more time to take picture , reflect, and enjoy. Otherwise it was amazing experience.

The entire trip sent as planned. From pick-up at the hotel to the return that night the trip was well planned and enjoyable. The bus was comfortable and the Tour Guide (Marco Anthony, I think) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I felt safe the entire trip and the times allotted for each stop were appropriate. Lunch was also very good quality and tasty. Well Done!

I would recommend this trip to anybody that was even questioning it! Our experience was a complete 10/10. If you do decide to go, I would highly recommend having Marco be your tour guide. This was by far one of the best memories we had during our week in cancun.

The entire tour was amazing. I cannot choose one favorite thing. I feel like I learned so much. At first I was concerned about the pick-up but they will inform you exactly where to go for pick-up location and time, and its smooth sailing from there. Once the bus officially hits the road, our guide David prepped us for the day ahead. He was so informative and engaging. Chichen Itza was incredible! We also visited a Mayan community where we ate delicious lunch and were able to buy variety of souvenirs and even be blessed by a Shaman! We also had an opportunity to sponsor a good cause by purchasing personalized Mayan calendars. We visited Selva Maya - where we participated in a tequila tasting and went for a swim in Cenote Saamal. The cenote was so gorgeous! Something out of a movie! It was incredible! I highly recommend.

Made my first trip to Cancun special!

Marco was honestly one of the most genuine and best tour guides I have ever had. Visiting Chichen Itza with him was incredible! He was so passionate, knowledgeable and fun, I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We got picked up and taken back to our hotel, which was actually pretty far from Cancun, and it worked out perfectly. The Cenote was amazing, and so was the tequila tasting. It just was all very authentic. Can’t wait to come back and honestly, I would ask for Marco every time! Our driver Tomas was also super sweet and would always make sure we got hand sanitizer on the way back into the bus. He was also a fantastic driver. For the price, we felt like we definitely got more than what we bargained for. Highly recommended if you are looking for a genuine experience on the land. 10/10 would recommend. He always also fluent in both English and Spanish, which was great for me and my boyfriend who only understands English but doesn’t speak it. Thank you Marco and amigos your for making this vacation magical:).

The driver was safe and prompt and the guides were helpful and provided a lot of information... thanks Marco! The lunch was fair and the cenote swim was just the thing after cooking at the ruins. Skip the tequila tasting, it would have been a huge time waster since time at the cenote is limited. Overall great day

A good tour at a good price

Overall a great tour if what you’re looking for is a solid visit to Chichen Itza with lunch and cenote swim for a reasonable price. They picked us up at our hotel directly which was great (Vidanta). The bus was large and well-air conditioned. Our tour operator talked most of the way out and educated us (in English and Spanish) about the Mayan people and its history. Very interesting. Bring extra water. It’s hot!! The mexican lunch was very good. The cenote swim was also fun. Well developed area. Refreshing. The biggest negative was the fairly consistent “side-selling” going on. First it was the Mayan horoscope/name interpretation artwork talked about on the bus. Then it was selling of tequila and silver/other trinkets at the restaurant locale. They take your photo at the restaurant and slap it on a tequila bottle they try to later sell to you upon leaving the place (while on the bus). The tour guide MUST be getting a cut for everything sold and promoted. I assume so anyway. That I didn’t like. Entrance fee to the ruins is extra. Called a “state tax” - Same thing. Paid to the tour operator upon boarding main bus. You would have to pay this at the ruins anyway but just wanted to be clear that the fee for the Chichen Itza park is separate. Also separate is the life jackets and locker rental at the cenote (fairly cheap). The tour guide will say you aren’t allowed to bring your own water or drinks into the buffet but the truth is you can (some did). They just want to up sell you drinks of any kind.
