Nice tour to visit the Synaguogue with a member of the Jewish community which make the tour way more relevant. We recommend if you plan to visit the monument.

Great guide, knowledgeable, from the community, and eloquent. Learnt a lot on this visit: the history of the Hungarian Jews and of this particular neolog community. There’s also a small exhibition on the Budapest ghetto that is worth checking out.

Our tour guide was so passionate about the design and architecture of the building itself but even more about the history of Jews in Europe and Hungary, the Holocaust and remembrance.
