We can be found inside the Austin Visitors Center at 602 E 4th Street. Parking is available in the garage at 601 E 5th Street. Street parking is also available for $2/hr and can be paid using the Park ATX app.

This was a very disappointing adventure. The bus was extremely hot, we were told owners do not care and they know others have complained. 3 “stops” were closed, hardly any information was given. It was a waste of time and money!!

Thank you for coming back to us with more details. I have discussed all this with our guide. The stops he included were Mt Bonnell, Texas State Capitol & the Driskill Hotel. Once he realized the Library was closed he added in the Texas State Capitol. We are addressing the heat issue. We have installed an additional ac system along with other remedies and continue to monitor if it's adequately cooling the vehicle. Were you able to hear the narration though out the tour using earbuds connected to the sound system? I have sent you a personal message in addition to this response. Mary Davidson

The tour covered a lot of Austin and the tour guide was ver6 knowledgeable about the area. The recorded narrator gave some very good historical information about the different landmarks and sites as well. Seeing the tall man looking up and the view from Mount Bonnell was my favorite sites.

Totally enjoyed our tour of Austin and the Hill country. The weather was nice enough we were able to have the top open, morning tour. Joel was very friendly and informative of everything we did. Other passengers were accommodating by not talking so we could hear everything being said. It was a lot of fun. A great way to see Austin and have some idea of places you would want to go back to spend longer a time. I highly recommend this tour.

Really search out safe trips during this covid time so was very disappointed my open air trip was a closed bus after 30 minutes. It wasn’t that hot with the breeze. Expressed this to driver. Was nervous and anxious the entire two hours.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your concerns. We're very sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We try to do everything we can to keep our guests safe. This is our first year to use our new convertible van, and we're learning how to best accommodate all of our guests during high temps, wind, and rain. We have made the decision to keep it closed when it can becomes too hot when left open for some of our more heat sensitive guests. Once opened the van is very difficult to cool back down when temperatures are high, so it’s best to close before it gets too hot inside. We understand this made you feel uncomfortable from a Covid perspective. We do not make a commitment to keep the van open at all times. We will take corrective action to make sure this is clear in our tour information. We do ask that our guides wear masks and we offer mask to those who don’t have a mask, and ask guest to not join us if they are sick. Additionally, we have taken extra precautions to make sure the van is sanitized between tours to help us provide Covid safe tours.
