The exclusive experiences that only this tour provides are outstanding. Greg did an amazing job sharing his extensive knowledge of the wine making process, the region and tasting of the various wineries we visited.

The tour itself was 10 out of 10. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Barossa Valley and knows exactly where to take us. We over all enjoyed the package wine tour and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

Enjoyable Day in Barossa Valley

My daughter and I had a delightful day! Greig was a wonderful guide and his passion for wines showed through. It was a small tour consisting of 5 people in the morning and only 4 for the afternoon. The SUV was very comfortable. All the wineries were lovely with their staff friendly and knowledgeable. I did learn that Australia keeps their best wines for themselves and not the States. My only regret is that I did not purchase wine at our first stop. Lunch was very tasty with the wine tasting during the luncheon. We had time at the end of the day to visit Maggie Beers a seasonal kitchen with sells delicious looking food items. All in all a very enjoyable day in the Barossa Valley!

A great day in the Barossa

We had a beautiful day in the Barossa, not a cloud in the sky! We were picked up at the hotel (CBD area) on time and driven to the Barossa, picking up the other small (3) group on the way. Grieg gives all kinds of information on the Barossa wine industry and the wineries/cellar doors on the way there. We visited a varied selection of cellar doors. We had a very nice lunch at Lambert. A very enjoyable day indeed!

Our guide Grieg was lovely. We did two tours with him and he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He changed the itinerary last minute to make sure I got to try some of the sweeter wines as that’s my weakness and introduced us to some beautiful vineyards. Got to try some wine with one of the owners and get his personal insights into the wines which was one of the highlights for my partner. All in all, would highly recommend!

Relaxing day out
Meredith_S
, Dec 2021
We enjoyed our wine tour to some of the smaller wineries in the Barossa Valley. Murray Street Vineyards and Langmeil were our top picks. The wine was good but got a bit pricey for the quality at the last winery, which is risky when you’ve been tasting all day. Self control required!! Also bring some snacks as there was no food until 1pm and you need it to balance the tastings. A good day out with no worries for all guests.
icon Response from Host , Jan 2022
Meredith. Im glad you enjoyed your time with us and your liking of the wineries. Yes i agree when you do a lot of tastings and coming to the end of the selected wineries you can spend a little more than intended. Travel safe and look forward to your next visit.

Grieg was a great guide. He put up with us getting slightly merry early on, top tour! Only downside was that we didn't realise the Barossa was a red wine region!

Melleh Thank you for the great review and yes Adelaide Hills or Eden Hills is the best place for fresh white wine which I offered to take your group but the desicion was made to stay in Barossa Valley and we found a few whites to try. I glad you enjoyed your time and as a group were very well behaved and being a little merry just made you laugh a lot. Look forward to your next tour in Adelaide Hills Greig

Friendly, but Unprepared
Departure14680860534
, May 2019
Our recent visit to the Barossa Valley happened to fall on Easter Sunday, and while we had booked weeks in advance and the tour had been confirmed, the guide was on the phone making last minute bookings and changes to our itinerary due to the busy holiday. As a result not all of the wineries we stopped at were not prepared for us and we didn't get the extra attention or service that you normally expect with an organized wine tour, that being said Tsharkes and Chateau Dorrien were standouts. Lunch was local pub fare, no drinks included, and again just seemed poorly prepared, as payment had not been organized with the pub in advance which lead to some awkward exchanges. Our driver was friendly, and did genuinely look to get us into places, but it all seems like it could have run a lot smoother with a little more preparation in anticipation of the long weekend.
