American Prohibition Museum

209 West St. Julian Street, Savannah, Georgia, 31401

The Basics

America’s only Prohibition museum offers exhibits that cover this era in the country’s history from the Temperance Movement through the Great Repeal. Immerse yourself in the world of bathtub gin and smugglers, then take a cocktail class at the museum’s speakeasy—or just relax with a craft cocktail at the swanky bar. For a full-day cultural excursion, you can opt for a trolley tour of the Savannah Historic District that includes admission to the museum.

Skip the line?

Skip-The-Line: The American Prohibition Museum Admission Ticket
Skip the line didn’t happen because despite buying these tickets on this website, the Prohibition Museum made us wait in line to get wrist bands. In fact they even said they don’t know why you sell tickets and state skip the line because they will always have people wait.

My experience was good with the information provided. Wish there were guides along the way to point out facts. I do have comments on this app. I could not upload not 1 photo. It says up to 10 and I tried all I could and not one photo would save. Please correct so that others can view what I enjoyed most.

My boyfriend and I loved this museum- which I had more time to spend there! I learned so much, very interactive and engaging. They have amazingly preserved paraphernalia, staff were friendly, not too crowded (even on a Saturday afternoon). Really fun time. I purchased the skip the line ticket but it wasn’t even needed- no line.
