The Basics

The castle is among the most important cultural sights in Milan, together with the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie—where Leonardo Da Vinci’sLast Supper is located—and the Cathedral. Lines can be long to enter its museums, so book a skip-the-line tour of this vast complex to avoid a delay at the entrance or join a walking tour of the city that includes stops at some of its most famous monuments and a visit to the castle. Certain parts of the castle, including the crenellated ramparts and the covered "Ghirlanda" passage, are only accessible by private tour.

Worthwhile and informative
I think like most people seeing the frescoes of The Last Supper is a highlight. Our tour guide gave us so much more information on this and more, I find the extra information takes the tour up the next level. Highly recommend this trip

The Last Supper and Sforza Castle Tour - small group tour
It was amazing to see the Last Supper up close. Although you only have about 15 minutes to view, the guide was very informative and was able to explain a lot about the painting while viewing. She also did a great job of explaining the background details to how/why Da Vinci was employed to paint and his process/reasoning for painting what was to become an iconic piece. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide.

Sforza Castle and Michelangelo's Pietà Rondanini guided experience
The history of Sforza castle is very interesting and the tour guide did a fabulous job of explaining it in detail while walking us around the interior. My wife is not a huge history buff like me, but she was engaged with the tour the entire time. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visits the castle

Laura met us early and gave us extra info about the church and Leonardo DaVinci's Last Supper. The extra time at Castello Sforzesco allowed us to have a great museum visit. Viator never disappoints.

An absolute MUST DO if you're in Milan...even for one day!

Duomo and Sforza Castle guided experience
An absolute MUST DO if you’re in Milan! This was a true one of a kind experience! Our guide was very informative, polite and professional. She gave us incredibly detailed information about the Cathedral, the history, and the nature of the city as well as the different objects we were seeing. The Cathedral is incredible, and definitely takes your breath away quite a few times. The ability to be on top of it, and walk amongst all those tiny and not so tiny pillars, basically touch it’s beauty, and see the entire city of Milan and the Alps from atop, is one of a kind! The inside of the Cathedral, also, leaves your breathless with it’s beauty, endless bounty of history, and the overwhelming size of the actual building. This is a complete and absolute MUST DO if you’re in Milan even for a day! The Sforza Castle is quite cool too. We have seen and visited many castles in the world before, and this one definitely is on top of the list thus far! Such a big object! You don’t get to see the entire castle with the tour guide, but she did provide valuable information of what is worth seeing if you have some extra time. Unfortunately, we did not have a spare minute in our intense itinerary, but also felt quite fulfilled with what we have seen and witnessed during this tour. I would strongly encourage everyone visiting Milan to do this tour. You get to see great highlights of Milan in detail, and learn soooo much from the tour guide!

Private Best of Milan Guided Tour with Duomo, La Scala Theatre and Sforza Castle
This was a private tour by guide for four persons. We were delighted to discover that our private guide on a trip to Lake Como, Eddy, would be our guide around Milan. Once again, he did not disappoint. The tour of the Duomo included the rooftop tour. He was very thorough in his lectures about the construction and continued maintenance of the structure. We walked as a group over to La Scala and then to Sforza Castle. It was a lovely morning. It was also Fashion Week in Milan. This only added to the excitement. A very good itinerary with an excellent guide. If you only have one day in Milan, this is a great way to spend it.

Sforza Castle and Museum Guided Tour
We Met “Charles” outsider the Sforza castle. He was there in good time. We were a group of 6 people because some did ‘t show up and all the way he was pouring out his knowledge about many things related to the Sforza and to the different art objects in the castle. very interesting afternoon We have 2 more Viator guided tours left and I so wish we’ll have guides like “Charles”, if we can’t get himself.
