While the Myilly Point Historic Precinct has four houses, the Audit House, Burnett House, Magistrates House, and Mines House, only the Burnett House is open to the public. Visitors can step inside the Burnett House to visit its museum and wander the grounds to see the exterior façades of the other structures. The historic precinct also hosts a colonial high tea (complete with scones) in the gardens each Sunday afternoon in summer (April to October). Not many tours visit the precinct, making it an excellent way to get off the beaten path.
