Chicago Loop

701 S State St, Chicago, Illinois

The Basics

Rivaled in the United States only by Manhattan’s Midtown in terms of size and scope, the Loop is Chicago’s buzzing, dynamic heart. Visit tourist destinations such as the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), popular landmarks such as Grant Park (which comprises Millennium Park, the Museum Campus, and other attractions), public artworks by artists like Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder, the Chicago Theatre, the Chicago Cultural Center, and much more.

You’ll find the Loop on dozens of tour itineraries, from hop-on hop-off bus, bike, and Segway tours to themed walking tours. To see the Loop from the water’s edge, take a river cruise, which provides a speedy way to glimpse many of the Loop’s skyscrapers and other key sights.

Awesome Food Tour

Chicago Loop Secret Food Tour with Private Tour Option
My husband and I do food tours every time we visit a city that has them. This one was right up there with the best. Our tour guide, Denise, was very knowledgeable about the Windy City. The beautiful buildings you pass by and learn about, the stories she tells, and of course the food you eat, makes this a must do tour. Trust me this is not a tasting, do not eat before you go.

Denise was such an excellent tour guide, she made this such a fun experience! It was part history and part food tour. Each location was interesting in either a historical or pop culture context as well as all the delicious food we sampled. I can not recommend this tour enough!

Jordan was fantastic. Kept the group on our toes and very engaged from start to finish! My one thing is that we have rather tried a hot dog (or other native food) than 2 desserts.

We ate some good food, learned some interesting history, and a nice walk in Chicago on the Secret Food Tour. Our group of 4 joined 6 other nice folks and started at Gino's pizza - yum - from there - well I don't want to spoil the surprises so... Our guide Kylie could not have been more enthusiastic and everyone really enjoyed themselves - recommended!
