The Basics

A prebooked admission ticket or day tour to Xcaret park makes it easy to access an impressive range of activities, with entry including the opportunity to snorkel with fish in natural lagoons, visit the park's Maya archaeological sites, and and catch the Xcaret Mexico Espectacular light and dance show. Some day tours have optional upgrades for extras such as a buffet lunch or exclusive changing rooms, while combo tours can be booked to also visit other nearby attractions, such as the Chichen Itza or Xel-Ha ruins or Xplor Adventure Park.

While there’s plenty to do within the bounds of a general admission ticket, a plethora of add-on activities are also available. For an extra fee, take a speed boat ride (from $59), snorkel atop an offshore coral garden (from $49), take in a theatrical interpretation of the origins of Mexican culture over dinner at the Gran Tlacho Theater (from $59), or experience the Temascal, a traditional four-part wellness ritual (from $39).

Swimming with sharks was a once in a lifetime amazing experience. The staff... and they were everywhere.. were incredibly kind and helpful. However the opportunity to print a map prior or acquire one there would be very very helpful

7-Day Yucatan Eco-Adventure Tour Including Sian Ka'an and Xcaret
The tour was great and the guide, Hernan, was great! The only aspect I see that could be improved upon is the cleanliness of the van. The van was a bit dirty, but nothing too bad.

Pl don’t make the same mistake as me - I was looking for the river float with stalactites. This one that we see in the pictures is in X plor park!! Recommendation form future visitor - pl do the river float before lunch. In this way you will get to the opposite side of the park where the river ends and they bring your stuff. Please eat lunch at the seafood peninsula buffet. Best location!!!! Pl reconsider Adrenalina boat ride. Hurts your neck. I have been taking a lot of Advil. Next time I would choose dinner with the evening show. 7 course meal with alcohol and premium seating for only $65 per person. Unfortunately we had a late lunch . Timing at this park is everything 😂

We loved the show at the end of the day the most but everything was fabulous!! There is a lot of walking & the trails can be a little confusing but we managed. We ate the buffet & tried a sample of everything that was offered. We also had the 7 course meal & our waiter was amazing! My daughter & I had a massage near the waterfall. I was disappointed with Linda as she focused mainly on the legs & arms. She did not work on sore areas such as my neck & back. That massage was not worth $90. We love Eli (tour guide on the bus). He’s very smart & helped us get our extra excursions. They did not practice social distancing at Xcaret.

Great park! I have nothing bad to say about Xcaret. It is absolutely stunning and truly I have not see anything like it. Our bus came to the hotel on time and we arrived very quickly to the park. The only con would be the fact that they only inform you about the paid activities, even though there are a lot of free activities which are just as fun but you have to go out on your own to find them. Look at a map prior to going and make a plan otherwise you will miss a ton of good activities. They told us our bus was leaving at 8:10 pm. We got there at 8:01 pm and our bus was already gone. Luckily, they had another bus going in the same direction which was able to drop us off. It was rather smooth!

Xcaret Plus Tour with Transportation
So much fun. It’s not really a tour where a guide walks you around from place to place. Think of Xcaret like a theme park. The guide will drop you off and give you some information and then you are free to go through the park at your leisure. We did all of the water-related activities first, and then ate at the Mexican restaurant for lunch. Definitely get a plus ticket for the plus lockers and the plus area. Worth the extra money for the central location and buffet lunch. Then we went through the Mayan village and the aviary and butterfly and Jaguar area. The butterfly park was gorgeous, but very hot. Stay for the shows. They are all very good. We also got dinner at a table close to the main stage for the final show of the evening. All the food was delicious and well worth the money to get a good seat and great food. Bring plenty of sun screen and drink plenty of water. Plenty of shops and cafes all throughout the park if you need a pit stop. It is a VERY long day; we got up at 5am, and got back to our hotel around 11pm...but it was so much fun and I recommend it to everyone. Family friendly!
